Rand holds a PhD in Medical Engineering focusing on design & validation of a dual modality brain computer interface.

She has spent more than 10 years in research of neuroelectronic systems with key publications in BCI and EEG methods. She is a versatile Engineer with experience ranging from CAD design to PCBs, Programming, Signal Processing and applied machine learning.
